방용훈 사장의 아내 이모씨는 지난 해 9월 한강변에 투신해 자살

아내 이모씨의 어머니와 방용훈 사장의 자녀들은 방 사장이 아내를 학대했다고 주장

4월 24일 지난 해 11월 1일 오전 1시 쯤 방용훈 사장과 그의 아들이 용산구 한남동에 있는 방용훈 사장의 처형 A씨의 집에 침입하여 현관문을 돌로 내리치는 영상이 공개되었습니다. 

방용훈 부자는 처형인 A씨가 SNS 에 가족을 비방하는 내용의 글을 퍼트렸다고 의심하면서 벌어졌습니다

폐쇄회로(CCTV)영상을 보면

아들인 방씨가 어디론가 전화를 걸자 아버지 방용훈 사장이 도착했고, 

아들 방씨가 이모 집의  현관문을 수차례 돌리 내리쳤으며

방용훈 사장은 빙벽 등반용 철제장비를 들고 올라왔습니다

여기에는 현관문에 놓인 바구니를 걷어차는 위협적인 행동도 있었으며 이를 말리는 아들의 모습도 담겨있습니다

이렇게 CCTV 증거가 있음에도

겸찰은 아들 방씨를 기소유예하고 방용훈 사장에 대해 증거불충분으로 혐의없음 처분을 내렸습니다

이에 방용훈 사장의 처형이 항고했으며 서울고검이 지난 2월 재수사 명령을 내렸습니다

아들 방씨는 어머니 A씨가 지난해 자살한 것과 관련해 이모가 SNS 에 소문을 퍼뜨린다고 의심해 이 같은 일을 저질렀다고 경찰해 진술했는데요

방용훈 사장의 장모님(82세)과 처형(58세)는 방용훈 사장의 30대 딸과 아들28세 등을 특수존속상해 등의 혐의로 고소했습니다

평소에 방용훈 사장의 아내가 남편과 자녀들에게 학대를 당해왔다는 주장입니다 

경향신문을 통해 A4 11장 분량의 편지를 통해 방사장이 자녀를 통해 아내를 지하실에서 고문했고, 관련된 증거를 인멸하려 한다고 주장했습니다

방용훈 사장의 딸이 2015년 11월 어머니와 말다툼을 하다가 과도로 어머니의 복부를 3회 찔러 상해를 입혔고, 

2016년 5월부터 8월말까지는 어머니를 감금해 고문하여 전치 2주의 부상을 입혔으며

2016년 9월 자살도 방용훈 사장의 자녀들의 지시한 것이라고 주장합니다

딸과 아들이 어머니를 고문했다는 할머니와 이모의 주장이 언뜻 이해가 되지 않지만

워낙 이해 안되는 일도 많이 생기는 세상이라 수사를 해봐야 알겠지요?

Prosecutors have resumed investigation into Koreana Hotel CEO Bang Yong-hoon who allegedly attempted to break into his sister-in-law’s Itaewon home in Seoul in November.

The CEO was initially investigated for the attempt immediately after the break-in happened. But as allegations were dropped his sister-in-law appealed the decision to drop the charges.

According to the CCTV footage, Bang arrived with his 29-year-old son outside the house in November. The two held stones and an ice axe and began banging them hard on the front gates several times before taking off in a car.

Little is known about their motive, but it’s believed that he did so amid the dispute involving his children after the death of his wife surnamed Lee.

Bang’s family is one of the wealthiest in Korea _ His brother owns the Chosun Ilbo. His 55-year-old wife killed herself in September last year. Bang has four children.

The police collected her body from the Han River. Given a suicide note found in her parked car along the river, the police concluded she had killed herself. Her four children also testified that their mother had suffered depression and was taking anti-depressant pills.  

But the 89-year-old mother of the deceased wife filed a criminal investigation request against her two grandchildren for abusing their mother and even murdering her.

The grandmother claimed her daughter was pushed to kill herself by her children who continued physical and verbal abuse and confinement and submitted text messages and other evidence to the prosecution.
